Terry Crews was 11 when a woman who saw his drawing skills discovered him.  He was asked to sign a deal that would earn him $25, a hefty payment for a child in his day. He ended up disappointing the woman who wasn't happy with his work and decided not to pay him. The experience taught him a hard lesson on hard work and how it's nearly impossible to please everyone in this world.

That was the first of many rejection to come in  Crews' life. But the talented NFL star stood strong in the face of adversity and overcame every obstacle in life. He continued to work throughout his childhood for a living, and eventually joined the NFL as a professional football player. The time he spent with the NFL was filled with complications. He abandoned the league and ended chasing his dream as an actor around.

He thought he was going to get offers easily because of his status as a football player. But things didn't go according to plan and the aspiring actor ended up broke and had to sweep the floors for a living.

It was a difficult phase in his life that only taught him a bigger lesson about remaining steadfast even when  life throws a curveball. Life smiled at him when he started getting roles in movies like The Expendables. He has done well for himself since he started acting and featuring in many TV programs. Crews has become a popular face since he embraced fame.  His comic nature endears him to many and money has not stopped flowing.
